Myeloid stem cells, also known as common myeloid progenitors (CMPs), are multipotent progenitor cells derived from hematopoietic stem cells in the bone marrow. They give rise to various blood cell lineages, including erythrocytes, platelets, granulocytes (neutrophils, eosinophils, basophils), and monocytes.
